Our Story

1999 — Christian and Christine Meert create a Marriage Preparation Course based upon St John Paul II's Theology of the Body

2004 — CatholicMarriageprep.com is launched, first online marriage prep course ever

2011 — At the request of a priest, a program for Quinceañeras is created, under the patronage of St. Maria Goretti

2012 — Creation of Agape Catholic Ministries, LLC, gathering our different programs

2013 — Christian and Christine are invited to give a retreat to military married couples in Okinawa

2014 — At the request of another priest, we create and launch CatholicBaptismPrep.com, allowing parents and godparents to prepare together

2015 — Christian and Christine are invited to give a presentation at the World Meeting of Families in Philadelphia

2024 — Agapè is among the sponsors of the National Eucharistic Congress

Pronunciation [a-ga-pè]

Our logo represents a monstrance made of two wedding rings to symbolize the Eucharistic Agapè love. Below the monstrance, the flames/leaves symbolize the fire of the Spirit and the fruitfulness of the family.

Christ gave his life selflessly for each of us, to open the gates of heaven to us. The grace of the Sacrament of Matrimony is the new capacity to love as Christ loves the Church. Christ’s Agape love is then what unites husband and wife, parents and children.
